What do you get when you get a beautiful woman in a flowing tulle skirt and ask her to show off some of her beautiful dance moves, you get these amazing photos. Enjoy these photos of the beautiful Celina.
I've been wanting to photograph a Ballerina for ages so I put the call out and to my surprise, I got two Ballerina's that answered the call and the following photos are from my Little Ballerina photo session. Riley did a fantastic job and brought her best Little Ballerina move along with her wonderful English Bulldog Tucker and Mom and Dad ofcourse.
What do you get when you add a beautiful Ballerina and put her in the country? You get these amazing photos! I've been wanting to photograph a Ballerina for years. So on a whim I posted a notice at work to see if anybody knew a Ballerina that would be interested in doing a photo session and I was thrilled when I finally got a Ballerina who would come out into the country and capture some great images!
Opa! I love the month of August because it means it's time for Greekfest!! Greekfest equals amazing food, awesome music and the most wonderful group of volunteers you'll ever meet.
One of the nights I did photos included Multicultural Night. It included local Ottawa dance toupes from other countries including Mexico, Columbia, Romania and ofcourse Greece.
One of my favorites places was the Honeyball Stand. Honeyballs are a deep fried pastry coated in honey. It was great to watch them getting made but even better to eat. Yum!
Here are a few photos from my two day Greekfest experience.
I had the great opportunity on February 4th of being the official photographer for a great fund raising event, For The Love Of Dance. Local dancers volunteered their dancing skills to help raise over $1700 for the Riverside Park Nursery School. The dancers put on an amazing show and a special thank you to both Anna and Safiya who organized this special event and allowing me to be part of it.
This photo session was a little warmer than the one we did with the first set of dance instructors from Dance With Alana. http://www.dancewithalana.com/ (see Let's Dance on earlier blog) Lou Truss, http://www.loutrussphotography.com/ was my partner in crime for this photo session. We got to photograph some amazing dancers. Hope you enjoy some of the photos from our session. Thanks again to all the dancers!
Back in October I had an amazing photo session with some dance instructors from Dance With Alana. http://www.dancewithalana.com/ We had so much fun, we decided to do it again. On a beautiful, slightly cool October day, I had a the opportunity to photograph some wonderful dancers from a local dance school in Ottawa, Dance With Alana. http://www.dancewithalana.com/ With the help of two of my photography friends, Lou and Hagen, we had a blast working with Caroline, Rafeek, Joseé and Ben Jammin. Enjoy!
Here is a sneak peak of some amazing dancers we had the opportunity to photograph today. We started and 1:00PM and stopped at 5:30PM and really only stopped because the sun was starting to go down. Thanks so much to the wonderful dancers and to my photo partners, Lou and Hagen...thanks for helping make this such a great day.
